I am the founder and director of Omis Hamper and Pantry. I started this organization with the hopes of reducing the financial stress for families during Birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I was a low income single mom and I know all to well how difficult those times can be. We want to give our kids the world but cant even afford a cake! That broke my heart. .so I worked towards a goal and here it is. No judgement only love.

Sherry Shorting
Hi my name is Sherry Shorting I am the Treasurer for Omi’s Hamper and Pantry. I had come across the facebook page as I was scrolling through, I seen there was a call for a board of Directors and I thought what a great opportunity to be involved in such a great capacity.
I love hockey and football CFL and NFL , love to take pictures as an amateur and love exploring our beautiful province.
I don’t think there is a greater feeling than seeing the happiness and excitement of the recipient receive the greatness we deliver to them.
